Disable license update notifications in DirectAdmin

License update notifications are sent when DirectAdmin system downloads the license from the DA server.

DA version 1.62.0 (scheduled for release in May 2021) offers the possibility to disable these notifications via an option in the directadmin.conf file. You can use a text editor or via a DA admin as shown below.

The option that needs to be set is:

notify_on_license_update=0

The default value is 1. Don’t forget to restart DA.

To change the value via a DA command, use:

# /usr/local/directadmin/directadmin set notify_on_license_update 0
# service directadmin restart
